To Repair Incorporations, one of the youngest companies in this top 10 list, was founded in 1949 by Algar de Todo. The revenue in 2018 was 4.5 billion dollars. Here are some of the high-profile projects this company has been involved in in recent years.
9. CBNI and McDormand Construction
In number nine, we have the consortium formed by CBNI and McDormand Construction. McDormand is a premier global upstream and downstream engineering procurement construction and installation company operating in over 5,400 countries. In 2018, the total revenue of this merger was ten point nine billion dollars.

Now in position number eight, we have Wide Internal Construction, based in Baltimore, Maryland. Wide Internal Contracting has been in business since 1909. It's one of the nation's largest construction management and general contracting companies. The company provides a full spectrum of construction services from large to small in markets such as retail, office, education, healthcare, life sciences, technology, transportation, and utilities.
7. PCL Construction Group
In number 7, we have PCL Construction Group. Founded in 1906, PCL is one of the largest construction businesses in Canada. At spot number five, we have Kiewit. Kiewit is one of the oldest companies in this list, founded over 130 years ago. It is one of the largest construction companies in North America with a growing presence in Australia. Kiewit focuses on infrastructure. They have built roads, dug channels to carry water to rivers, and many power plants around the world.
4. Turner Construction
Turner Construction takes the place at number four. Turner is a North American-based international construction services company and is a leading builder in diverse market segments. Founded 116 years ago, Turner was named one of the top six commercial building contractors in the U.S. by Advisory HQ. It has been named a top commercial building contractor for ten consecutive years. Turner’s total revenue in 2017 was 12 billion dollars.
3. Acom
Now, we enter the top three. In third place, we have Acom. Acom is a relatively young company, founded in 1990. Today, Acon is ranked 164th on the Fortune 500 as one of the largest American companies. It was named one of Fortune Magazine's most admired companies for five consecutive years. Some of the high-profile projects of Acom are the Envision Energy Headquarters, the Golden Gate Bridge suicide barrier, and the skyscraper One Vanderbilt.

In second place is Fluor. Fluor is one of the largest engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and maintenance companies, offering integrated solutions for clients’ capital projects. Founded in 1922, it specializes in modular construction and applies its techniques to various projects such as bridges and power stations.

The best construction company in the U.S. is Bechtel. For starters, Bechtel has claimed the top spot on ENR’s Top 400 Contractors list for the last 20 years in a row. Founded in 1902 by W.A. Bechtel, the company has been involved in historically important projects like the Hoover Dam, the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, and the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant. Bechtel has made more than 20 billion dollars consistently every year, and in 2018, its revenue was 25.2 billion dollars.
